Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Portugal playmaker Andre Gomes, according to reports.
The 22-year-old moved to Valencia in 2014 from Benfica, and he has gone on to score nine goals in 77 games for the Spaniards.
[post_ad]According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils have proposed paying the La Liga side £35.2m up front for Gomes, with a further £11.75m being paid in bonuses.
The Express, meanwhile, claims that Jose Mourinho’s side could offer Juan Mata, a former Valencia player, in exchange.
Italian giants Juventus are also thought to be interested in a move for the midfielder.
