Ahead of Tuesday’s Presidential election in US, a video was posted on Facebook showing a Catholic Priest, Rev. Frank Pavone’s dedication of 47 aborted fetus, as an appeal to voters to choose between Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald Trump; who speaks against abortion or Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton who supports abortion.
The 44 minutes long video had gained 236,000 views and in it, Pavone holds up a basket to dedicate a naming certificates for 47 babies. In his appeal to Americans on Facebook he said,
“We have to decide if we will allow this child killing to continue in America or not. Hillary Clinton and the Democratic platform says yes, let the child-killing continue (and you pay for it); Donald Trump and the Republican platform says no, the child should be protected.”

This has sparked contradictory comments from viewers. While some people criticised the priest, others praised his actions.
Rev. Pavone is a Catholic priest who’s also a high profile antiabortion activist fighting against the law passed in favour of abortion by the ruling democratic party in the United States of America.
During the final debate between Trump and Clinton, the former had advocated to ban abortion in the US, while the latter claimed abortion is every woman’s choice or decision and government has no business interfering with it.
Meanwhile, voters has queued up in US to cast their votes and various predictions points Hillary Clinton to emerge as President. Thousands of media reports around the world have staged their broadcasting services in anticipation of the polling results.
However, a report which allegedly emerge from the Vatican city informed that Pope Francis in one of his obligatory speeches has endorsed one of the candidate. Here’s what he said:
“I have been hesitant to offer any kind of support for either candidate in the US presidential election but I now feel that to not voice my concern would be a dereliction of my duty as the Holy See. A strong and free America is vitally important in maintaining a strong and free world and in that sense what happens in American elections affects us all.
“The Rule of Law is the backbone of the American government as it is in any nation that strives for freedom and I now fear that the Rule of Law in America has been dealt a dangerous blow.
Pope Francis condemned the FBI for refusing to recommend prosecution after they admitted that US law had been broken on multiple occasions by Secretary Clinton, hence proving the agency to be corrupted by political forces that have become far too powerful.
“Though I don’t agree with Mr. Trump on some issues, I feel that voting against the powerful political forces that have corrupted the entire American federal government is the only option for a nation that desires a government that is truly for the people and by the people.
“For this primary reason I ask, not as the Holy Father, but as a concerned citizen of the world that Americans vote for Donald Trump for President of the United States,” he said.
