Federal University Of Petroleum Resources once again has made the school proud at the “African Engineering conference on energy”. Everyone wanted to see some of the innovative technologies that the students exhibited at the conference.

People were trooping in their numbers just to see what the Fuprites have done. With 17 team members and two senior staff members( Engr. Dr. Godswill Ofualagba and Engr. Dr. Igbagara) they could barely handle the crowd of people at their stand).

Even the Deputy National president of NSE has to trace their stand just to have a second look at our project after having seen it at the “young engineers” program.

Experts, professors, entrepreneurs, industry players, policy-makers, students and lovers of Creativity and Innovation each wanted to associate with us.

Many could not just understand how a young school like FUPRE could have developed
1. An AIR POWERED GENERATOR
2. A Biogas electric generation plant
3. A stand alone biometric voting machine
4. A smart internet device for home and industrial control etc.

Our long days of doing the right thing in FUPRE is gradually paying off.

I want to congratulate my team members, and our coordinators:
Engr. Dr. Godswill Ofualagba( NSE FUPRE staff adviser)
Engr. Dr. Igbagara (Dir. Centre for Research Innovation, FUPRE)

Exhibitors Include:

1. James Ogbokeshimi
2. Mc Curtis Akpojaro
3. Ogugu Tega Joel
4. Efemena EwhrudJakpo
5. Ogara Chidi

I want to congratulate all team members who made our outing a success. See Photo after the cut below;
